4th Annual Outer West Visual Arts Teacher Network PL day

Join us for a day of collaboration, networking,  fresh ideas, catching up with old colleagues, sharing, connecting and  meeting new faces at the Outer West Visual Art Teachers Network PL Day.

This annual PL day, developed by us, for us, will uplift, empower, inspire and remind us all how important Visual Arts is in the development of our students and will send us marching back into our school communities armed with renewed spirits, ideas and purpose for 2018!

The day will begin with:

• Introduction/Swarm project – Steve Marks (AEV President)
• Streamlining Assessment – Shelley Menhennet (Cambridge PS and AEV councillor)
• Visual Thinking Strategies – Carly Grace (VTS Consultant)

Then a choice of three workshops including:

• Felting with Ned Kelly – Megan Fromholtz Bacchus Marsh
• Drawing with Alice – Jude Azzopardi University Park PS
• Strategies for differentiation and HITS in Visual Arts – Ruth Mackay and Andrew Knox Warringa Park School
• Embedding literacy and numeracy in Visual Arts – Leanne McNaughton and Hannah Briffa Truganina P-9
