Boundless Plains Retreat: Islamic Museum of Australia

Join the Islamic Museum of Australia on a journey of discovery.

Discover Australia’s rich Muslim history on a journey from Adelaide to Port Augusta, South Australia, guided by a local historian specialising in cameleer history.

We invite artists, content creators, musicians, fashion designers, and writers aged 18-30 to participate in this exciting and educational adventure.

Create artwork, poetry, stories, vlogs, films, garments, or music that reflect your experiences and insights from the journey.

When: November 27th to December 1st, 2024

Where: Adelaide to Port Augusta in South Australia

Cost: Participation in this program is free.*

*Spots for this retreat are limited. As part of the selection process, participants will be asked to engage in an interview with the facilitators. Only selected participants will be asked for the deposit payment ($300 – to be refunded at completion of the project).
