Session 1: Drawing from the Renee So exhibition @ MUMA

Venue: Monash University Museum of Art, Caulfield campus

Join us in the MUMA Gallery to draw from the current exhibition.

Guest curated by Charlotte Day, Renee So: Provenance is the first major exhibition of the London-based artist’s work in Australia, where she grew up after migrating with her family from Hong Kong at a young age. The exhibition brings together more than a decade of art-making alongside new work, surfacing narratives within her evolving practice.

Session 2: Life drawing at MUMA

Venue: Monash University Museum of Art, Caulfield campus

You’ll work in the MUMA gallery drawing life models in situ. This is set up as an introduction to life drawing but this is also very suitable for more experienced drawers.

Session 3: Drawing in space

Venue: MADA Gallery, Caulfield Campus

You’ll participate in a collaborative group drawing to construct a spatial drawing using either streamers or twine to fill a studio space.

You’ll be encouraged to consider expanded ideas of what drawing is and what drawing can be.
