Session 2: Drawing Animals from Monash’s Zoology department

Venue: Zoology @ Biological Sciences, Clayton campus

This session builds on session 1. You’ll work more exclusively with a specific specimen to complete a sustained drawing that explores line, tone, texture, and form.

Session 3: Translation: collage to drawing

Venue: MADA Gallery, Caulfield campus

Construct a collage from found images then make a drawing of your collage, translating the cut-and-paste into a seamless drawn image.

You’ll consider making a detailed, small, introspective drawing of your collage, and be encourage to think about how drawing is a construction as you work.
