ACCA: Data Relations: Professional Learning for Teachers

ACCA: Data Relations: Professional Learning for Teachers

Join exhibiting artists Tega Brain and Sam Lavigne with ACCA Educators for a teacher professional learning session in response to our current exhibition Data Relations.

The afternoon will feature an artist talk and workshop led by artists Tega Brain and Sam Lavigne, sharing their practice and digital art-making approaches for classroom application. The program demonstrates innovative ways for students to share visual creations online, harness the power of data driven visual advertising and develop and promote their own targeted campaigns.

This professional learning session is applicable for primary teachers, student teachers and secondary Visual Arts, Visual Communication Design and Media teachers who want to explore how data and online advertising can change our behaviours. Approaches integrate STEM learning and critical and creative thinking capabilities.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop or device. Places are limited so get in quick!
