Education at Incinerator Gallery
Find Programs HereProduct Description
Incinerator Gallery offer FREE excursions tailored for students spanning from kindergarten to Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) levels. Our programs are thoughtfully created to align with the exhibitions program, architectural elements, local civics history, and the surrounding environment. We can also incorporate Victorian Curriculum and VCE Study Design requirements.
Our primary goal is to cultivate a profound appreciation for art and civic engagement among learners. We achieve this by employing pedagogies — including Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS)—that stimulate critical and creative thinking, encouraging a holistic approach to learning.
Join us on an educational journey that fosters a deep understanding of art and encourages active civic participation.
Each summer we present the exhibitions Fireworks and Bright Sparks to showcase the achievements of art and design students who live, work or study in Moonee Valley.
Annually, we offer Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) Teacher Professional Development presented by Dr Christine Healey.
