INCLUSIVE FUTURES: Exploring Art and Innovation in the Visual Arts Classroom

KEYNOTE Speaker: Kate Just, a Melbourne-based visual artist known for her innovative use of craft and community engagement to address pressing social issues, including feminism, gender-based violence, reproductive freedom, war, racism, LGBTQIA+ rights, refugee and asylum seeker rights, and political protest use of craft in contemporary art.

In the keynote presentation, Kate Just examines how analogue craft techniques can engage in dialogue with – and sometimes serve as an antidote to – digital mediums.
