Zhana’s practice explores queer identity, and here she explains how her personal identity fed into her ideas for her VCE Art practice. Using a research-led approach, Zhana describes how she arrived at using the zine format for her artwork, including a mixture of type and illustration, with the aim of introducing the reader/viewer to her topic and opening the opportunity for better understanding.
