Lecture – The rise and role of the Modern Sculpture Park

Join Geoffrey Edwards, distinguished art historian and former Director of the Geelong Art Gallery for a lecture titled – ‘From Minneapolis to Merricks – the rise and role of the modern sculpture park’ – in which he will discuss the creation from the mid-twentieth century onwards of public and private sculpture parks in Europe, the US, UK and Japan including more recent and remarkable examples in New Zealand and Australia.
