Art Education Advocacy and Policy Development

The following two position papers have been written by the Tertiary Art Education Group of Victoria (TAEV), a sub-group of Art Education Victoria (AEV) for the purpose of art education advocacy.

The papers have been endorsed by the Australian Council of University Art and Design Schools (ACUADS), the Executive of the Australian Institute of Art Education (AIAE) and the Council of Art Education Victoria (AEV).

Available in the AEV members' area, they are published here for art teachers and other educators to use for art education advocacy and policy development within schools, regions and beyond. Copying of the papers is permitted for these educational purposes as long as acknowledgement of the authoring group is included.

Access these two resources in the AEV Members' Area.

Art & Studio Arts Folio Development DVDs

Recorded presentations from 2012 VCE programs.

A teacher presentation gives invaluable explanations of the study requirements, possible directions, and ways in which students have developed their practical work to achieve top marks for their folio.

Two students give honest, clear and sometimes funny presentations. These hard working, high achieving students talk about their initial nerves and plans, and take you through the development of their folios.
