2018 Annual Conference

Timed to coincide with the NGV Triennial and ACCA’s Unfinished Business, the 2018 Annual Conference will be based at Testing Grounds and operate across a number of venues. The conference will feature acclaimed artists Sally Smart, Juan Ford, Michael Peck, Emily Floyd, Sophie Takách, Emma Davies and Hermès artisans.

The 2018 Annual Conference will be an amazing opportunity to develop your skills, get inspired by contemporary artists, make strong connections with other art educators, and become empowered in your role regardless of your current skill level.

You will also have an opportunity to discover meaningful learning experiences around the Triennial including using virtual reality (VR) with students.

At the 2017 Unconference: Artist as Teacher, participants enjoyed working with a high calibre of VCA graduating artists that included the likes of Jon Cattapan, Elizabeth Gower, and Richard Lewer. Our 2018 Conference promises to build on that experience and offer more time for hands-on workshops.
